Overview

Aurizon's Civil Infrastructure Team is looking for experienced Track Workers (RIW Level 3). You'll be part of a small team responsible for carrying out track maintenance to required standards. We're seeking people with a positive, can-do attitude, a strong focus on safety and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather. Base salary $65K–$75K plus super, with opportunities for overtime and career progression.

Location: Gladstone

Responsibilities
  • Carry out track maintenance to required standards as part of a small team
  • Maintain safety practices and workflow in outdoor conditions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance activities
About you
  • Minimum 'C' Class Driver's Licence required; HR Licence or higher preferred
  • Strong rail labouring experience and knowledge
  • Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure
  • Experience and qualifications in operating loaders or excavators; welding experience is highly regarded
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think ahead; confident to speak up in all situations
  • Willing to complete any training provided within 6–12 months
