Location: Sydney CBD

We are seeking a results-driven Finance Analyst to join our high-performing finance team. In this role, you will provide critical financial support to our marketing and commercial functions, driving business performance through accurate forecasting, spend control, and insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture monthly sales and operations planning inputs and upload into financial systems for consolidation and reporting.
  • Prepare forecast summaries and support the creation of monthly financial decks.
  • Track in-month estimates versus forecasts and prior year for turnover and unit of production.
  • Manage budget management insight reporting, including journals, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Consolidate budget management insight forecasts and partner with marketing on spend tracking and budget management.
  • Act as super user for the budget management insight tool and provide user support.
  • Support overhead cost reporting, cost centre maintenance, and data accuracy.
  • Drive automation and simplification of reporting processes.
  • Assist in managing trade term spend, generating reports, and reviewing aged accruals.

Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of business experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
  • An accounting or finance degree, with achieved or working towards certified public accountant/certified accountant (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Previous commercial/business partnering or budget controlling experience.
  • An understanding of accounting standards.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Change management experience around system and process changes.
