What you'll be doing

  • Support patients with daily care and mobility needs
  • Assist nurses in procedures and clinical tasks
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and teams
  • Maintain accurate records and safe care standards
  • Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives

Selection Criteria
  • Applicant must hold Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing degree (second year)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication with the multidisciplinary health care team
