Product Designer

Join our Melbourne based technology company as a Product Designer and be at the forefront of revolutionising the childcare sector. We're on a mission to create meaningful solutions that positively impact children and parents.

Your Role:

As a key member of our team, you'll be instrumental in crafting user-centric designs that elevate the overall experience of our childcare solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business objectives, and technological constraints.
• Conceptualise and create intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces for our childcare technology products.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the platform.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design processes.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5+ years experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects.
• Proficiency in design, tracking, and analytics tools such as Figma, ContentSquare, and Google Analytics.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design rationale.
• Experience in designing for responsive web platforms.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with the childcare sector or a passion for creating impactful solutions is a plus.
• Bonus: Experience designing and supporting experimentation (e.g., A/B testing or multivariate testing frameworks).
• Hybrid Working Model: We offer the best of both worlds with a flexible hybrid arrangement, 2 days in our Melbourne office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and 3 days working from wherever suits you best.
