About the role

This is a permanent, full-time position located at Adelaide Airport. Reporting to the Stores Manager, you will work Monday to Friday. As the Store person, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out receipt, Inspection, Storage, Tagging, Handling, and dispatch of all Aeronautical Products, Standard Parts, Materials, and others to ensure conformance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and Procedures Manuals (PMs)
  • Record and report any defect found during the performance of Stores duties to the Store Supervisor
  • Ensure the general condition, upkeep, and housekeeping of Stores facilities, equipment, and any applicable vehicles are maintained and controlled in accordance with procedures, ensuring they are left in a clean and satisfactory condition
  • Ensure conformance to the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS)
  • Ensure compliance with National Jet Express - Engineering Workplace Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) policy and procedures
  • Support and promote the Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS), and a Just Culture
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the Stores Supervisor and Stores Manager
About you

We are looking for an individual who takes initiative, is proactive, and has the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. You will also need:

  • Australian Citizen or have full working rights
  • Ability to gain and hold an ASIC
  • Ability to gain and hold an Airside Driving Licence
  • Current Forklift licence or willing to obtain
  • Warehousing or Logistics experience is highly regarded
  • High level of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Strong safety culture and awareness
