About the role

Alpha Car Hire is looking for a Full-time Vehicle Cleaner to join our Operations team located in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicle cleaning is completed to a high standard resulting in a high-quality output to all customers. The available role will be worked in accordance with a seven (7) day rotating roster and required to work within the branch operating hours of Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm, Saturday to Sunday 7am to 7pm.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with hourly award rates per applicable award classifications alongside superannuation according to the Super Guarantee.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Cleaning passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Vehicle maintenance checks
  • Checking for and recording vehicle damage
  • Movement of vehicles on and offsite for refuelling, maintenance, repairs, delivery to customers or other location
  • Assisting with Customer Service tasks as required
  • Ensure compliance and workplace health and safety risks and incidents are reported promptly and managed effectively

About you

  • Vehicle Cleaning Experience is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive 'Can do' attitude
  • Ability to meet or exceed targets and KPIs set
  • Ability to work both unsupervised and collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to multi-task and highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Thrives in a fast paced work environment
  • Willingness to travel and work between locations
  • Full working rights eligibility
  • A full and current relevant state driver's licence
  • Have own reliable transport to and from the branch.
  • Be able to work weekends and public holidays as required
