About The Role

Join our Gold Coast team as a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners in a supportive environment that champions your professional growth. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll work with NDIS participants of all ages, delivering services across community, clinic, and telehealth settings—supported by a collaborative Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Building strong relationships with participants and stakeholders
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
  • Creating and implementing effective Behaviour Support Plans
  • Educating and training carers and support teams
  • Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices in line with NDIS guidelines
  • Monitoring outcomes through regular data collection

About You

We believe that talented clinicians are developed and nurtured, not just found through an exhaustive list of requirements. With that being said, there are a few requirements for our PBS practitioners, which are:
  • You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences)
  • Endorsed as 'Proficient' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required)
  • You have full Australian working rights
  • You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver's licence
  • You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check
