This full-time position offers 38 hours per week at a prestigious school with a competitive annual salary and superannuation benefits. As a Horticulturist, you will assist with leading a skilled team, ensuring our client's standards of garden maintenance are met and exceeded. Responsibilities
  • Assist with leading a team of maintenance staff and work autonomously to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning, and fertilising.
  • Maintain various areas across the school, ensuring exceptional care and service to gardens from Junior to Senior levels.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.

About You
  • Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens or minimum 5 years' experience (Essential).
  • Passion for delivering quality work.
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • White Card.
  • National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
