Are you an experienced leader with a passion for civil earthmoving and demolition projects? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated General Manager to lead our team at Hoffmann Civil, a reputable civil earthmoving and demolition company.
About the Role:
As General Manager, you will oversee both office and field operations, ensuring seamless coordination between our office staff and onsite crews. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing day-to-day activities, projects, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage office and field staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Oversee project planning, execution, and quality control for civil earthmoving and demolition projects
Understand plans and project requirements to ensure scope and specifications are met
Estimate small-scale projects, and support civil estimator on large-scale projects
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and subcontractors
Ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency across all operations
Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in civil earthmoving, demolition, or construction management
Strong understanding of plans, project requirements, and estimating processes
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong customer focus with the ability to develop lasting relationships
Ability to work both in the office and onsite
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficient in computer skills, including email, MS Office suite, and project management software
