About the Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our public area, housekeeping team. This role will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy five-star environment throughout the resort public areas and team member facilities.

The role is focused on ensuring that the daily requirements are delivered to a consistently high standard. Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform cleaning duties in all internal/external back of house and public areas, including: -Front of house restrooms; Conference rooms; Dining outlets; Day spa; and back of house areas
• Manual handling tasks such as vacuum cleaning, mopping, moving furniture to clean behind, wiping and dusting;
• Ensuring adequate amenities and linen stock is available in all facilities; and
• Work alone and as a team player alongside our housekeeping and front office staff.

This is a casual position with 2 shifts per week. Shifts are 10pm - 6am, Wednesday and Thursday.

What you'll need to be successful

• The ability to comfortably lift 20kgs and perform repetitive manual tasks safely;
• Experience in general cleaning including best health and safety practices and chemical handling techniques;
• A can-do attitude and a positive approach to work;
• Strong attention to detail and solid time management skills;
• Ability to work independently and be a proactive team member;
