The position is described as NDIA partner delivering the NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) to local communities, with a focus on children aged 0-9 with developmental delay and/or disability.

Responsibilities
  • Support families through a child- and family-centred approach, ensuring children receive appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
  • Utilise diploma or higher qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Complete functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determine needs, and arrange timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
  • Connect families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance social participation and access to essential services.
  • Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
  • Utilise the NDIS plan to support children and their families with improved choice, control, social participation, and overall quality of life.
Qualifications
  • Possess a diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience in judging and applying best-practice evidence to support family-centred planning and services.
