Are you passionate about working in the community? Due to HenderCare's continuous growth we now have an opportunity for Domestic Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. This is the perfect role to suit someone looking for flexible casual hours whether you're a busy parent looking to return to the workforce or a student balancing academic commitments.

You will be assisting our clients out in the community in their own homes. There is opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week with potential for hours to increase over time.

About The Role

As a Domestic Assistant at HenderCare, you will be a valuable support system for our aged care clients and people with disabilities. You'll take on domestic responsibilities that may have become challenging for them while also offering a much-needed sense of community and companionship.

This role operates Monday-Friday, offering flexible hours between 8:00am and 4:00pm with no weekend work required, ensuring the perfect balance between work and life.

Some Duties Include

• Dusting
• Vacuuming and mopping
• Laundry
• Making beds
• Light meal preparation
• Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
• Unaccompanied shopping on behalf of clients
  
  

About You

We are seeking someone with a caring nature and essential qualities such as encouragement, attentiveness, adaptability, excellent communication, and strong time management skills. Approaching people with empathy, you will be someone who is understanding and patient towards the needs of others, and passionate about making a difference in people's lives.

You Will Have

• Drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle (P1's and above or international licence)
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
