Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Join a Leading Blue Chip Australian Organisation.
- Hybrid working - 3 Days from Home - 2 in the office
- Start - Immediate
- $160k Package (Base and Super Inclusive) - 15-month initial contract. Likely to extend.
We're seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in a large-scale technology transformation program. This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to a technical hands on Infrastructure Engineer who thrives in complex infrastructure environments on medium to large projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in the planning, design, and deployment of infrastructure across VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, and client-device technologies.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to assess and implement infrastructure at multiple sites.
- Own and manage documentation, cutover plans, and operational readiness for infrastructure rollouts.
- Support integration across systems, including networking, SAP, and field services.
- Drive problem resolution, operational handover, and decommissioning of legacy systems.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or Lead in enterprise or multi-site environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, AD/Azure AD, and client-device integration.
- Proven track record in technical documentation, site planning, and operational cutovers.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft, VMware, and ideally Citrix or cloud (Azure/AWS).
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
