About the role

We are looking for a CO Crane Operator to join the Destec team. Your primary responsibility will be serving as the main Crane Operator for all necessary tasks. We currently operate two cranes, Grove GMK6220L & GMK6300L, as well as various Franna cranes. Ideally, we seek an individual who excels in crane operations and can also drive an MC Truck.

You will be required to transport the crane to various locations and undertake truck driving responsibilities for on-site deliveries when needed. The role requires flexibility and a willingness to assist in other areas when crane work is not scheduled.

The position is predominantly FIFO on a 2:1 roster and will be based at our Canning Vale depot when not on site.

Requirements
  • CO Crane Ticket
  • Proven experience operating 200/300t Cranes (preferably Grove)
  • MC Drivers Licence and experience driving road trains and floats (experience with Drake trailers is highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations
  • Ability to adapt to various work environments and project requirements
  • RTIO Inductions are highly desirable
