Estate Technician

Location: Rumsey House, Rochford. Salary: £26,733 – £28,140 per year. Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Estate Services team, based at Rumsey House, Rochford. The role will involve both team and lone working. You will carry out clearing and deep cleaning of void properties (including cleaning kitchens/bathrooms) and maintenance of the grounds. You will also assist with grounds maintenance tasks such as clearing/cleaning bin stores and removing fly tipping, and general cleaning of buildings. A van and tools will be provided. Development opportunities are available within the team to develop your skills and career.

Responsibilities
  • Clearing and cleaning void properties
  • Cleaning blocks of flats
  • Removing bulk waste
  • Grass cutting and litter picking
  • Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a usable condition
  • Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work
Skills and experience
  • Some practical experience in compliance testing
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Previous experience in a domestic/cleaning environment
  • This role will involve driving on company business. A full valid UK driving licence is required to drive a company vehicle

Salary progression: £26,733 per annum (rising to £28,140 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
