Home Care Worker – Churches of Christ Home Care - Hervey Bay

Churches of Christ are currently looking for caring and reliable individuals to assist seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, and social support. If you have a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, we will provide the necessary training to support you in this role.

• Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in Hervey Bay and surrounds.
• Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
• Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
• Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment.

The successful candidate will be joining a close-knit, experienced, and highly supportive team led by an experienced Service Manager, our team is built on a strong foundation of professional growth and shared values. • Is passionate about delivering high quality Home Care services
• Currently holds a Certificate III in Individual Support
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a Medication competency
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR qualification
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
• A current driver's license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role. (Reimbursement of 0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle)
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights – We are not currently able to sponsor
