Female Community Care Worker - 4+ Hours per Week

Hourly Rate from $39.55

Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our Northern Rivers team. You can enjoy a flexible and balanced work life while supporting people in your community to live their best life possible.

The Role:

This role involves traveling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centered care and support.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:

  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, traveling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
  • Performing work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
  • Services are generally between the hours of 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday

What You Will Need:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
