Base pay range

A$75,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr

About the Role

As an Intermediate Accountant at Solution Accountants, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of clients and contributing to our high-performing team. You'll report directly to the Accounting & Tax Manager and work closely with the Partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review tax planning figures and analysis
Prepare and review Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns
Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs (optional)
Ensure all compliance deadlines are met and proactively manage workflow
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to firm growth
Communicate directly with clients to develop strong professional relationships
Collaborate with team members and provide support where needed

What We're Looking For

4+ years of experience in a public practice firm
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation
Experience with financial statement and tax return preparation
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with cloud-based accounting software (Xero, MYOB) is a plus
