Position Details
  • Employment Type: Temporary Part Time - 4 days a week, 12-month contract (May 2025 to May 2026, maternity leave relief)
  • Position Classification: Staff Specialist
  • Remuneration: $262,376 - $323,777 per annum full-time equivalent, depending on experience
  • Hours Per Week: 32
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive specialist General Paediatric services, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital in the home, and consultancy services
  • Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement, and support training and education for multidisciplinary teams

About the Location

Lismore Base Hospital is a Level 5 regional referral hospital with a wide range of services and recent redevelopment. The Richmond region offers stunning natural scenery, vibrant communities, and a relaxed lifestyle.

Eligibility & Requirements
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Paediatrician
  • Recent clinical experience in General Paediatrics and Neonatal Medicine
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate leadership
  • Effective communication skills and commitment to teaching and quality improvement
  • Valid NSW driver's license and willingness to travel and participate in on-call duties
