Hours: We have multiple FTE available. We are happy to consider candidates looking for Part-Time or Full-Time

Location: Edinburgh North, Gawler or Barossa.

About the Role:

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver focused psychological interventions for individuals with mental health disorders in a primary care setting. You will provide both individual and group interventions for a range of client groups, including adults, adolescents, women in the perinatal period, children, and acute cases. You will be responsible for planning and implementing assessment and treatment services, as well as developing and running group programs when necessary. You will also liaise and consult with other professionals and participate in individual and group supervision, team meetings, and external meetings.

Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in the area of mental health.
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant professional development and/or supervision.
  • Experience in delivery of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based interventions.
  • Experience in assessing and treating clients with a range of mental health and/or alcohol and other drug problems.
  • Experience in shift coordination would be desirable.

Qualification and Other Requirements:

  • Approved Masters or equivalent in psychology.
  • General Registration with AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia.
  • To be considered a Clinical Psychologist, personnel must meet requirements to have practice endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia in the specialist area of practice of clinical psychology.
  • Current Child Safe Environments (Through Their Eyes) Training.
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
