Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Architect to join our team at UCentric. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering scalable cloud solutions that transform businesses.

Your primary responsibilities will include architecting and delivering end-to-end cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform services, translating complex business requirements into effective and scalable cloud designs, guiding clients through cloud adoption journeys, and leading assessments and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate value.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience designing and deploying solutions on GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Go, Bash, etc.)
  • Background in cloud-native DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in modernising legacy systems and implementing hybrid or multi-cloud architectures
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (preferred or in progress)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure architecture, with a focus on GCP preferred
