This is a Recruitment Pool for a Permanent Part Time appointment(s) at 38 hours per fortnight, Fixed Term Part Time appointment(s) at 30.40 hours per fortnight with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

There is the possibility of Grade 1 and/or Grade 2 Clinical Psychology appointments depending on your level of experience in a community Mental health service.

An appointee may progress to Clinical Psychologist Grade 2 upon successful completion of a Board approved supervised period of practice and gaining endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Referees may also be asked to comment on an applicant's integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/09/2026.

Position Profile: Within a multidisciplinary and professional team context provides a clinical psychology service requiring knowledge, experience and competence to consumers and their families presenting with comorbid mental health and psychological problems in the community setting. Provides consultation, education and supervision to Clinical Psychology Registrars and Trainees. Also provides consultation, liaison and education to other health professionals. Practices as a Clinical Psychologist and ensures practice is in accordance with laws and ethical standards governing psychological practice as per the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and EMHS values, policies and guidelines.

Area Profile: Bentley Health Service (BHS) is a specialist hospital located 11km from the Perth CBD and forms part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. BHS provides quality healthcare to the community, specialising in the delivery of mental health care, aged care services, obstetrics, and rehabilitation.
