About This Role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Deputy Registrar/Administrator for the duration of our transformation project. This role will support the Registrar and take responsibility for a wide range of senior administrative duties within the Tribunal.

The Deputy Registrar is expected to assist with staff related matters, consumer enquiries, requests for documents, as well as member rostering and support.

Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $125,693 - $138,510 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week. Initial contract for six months with the possibility of extension.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Oversee the management of the wide range of administrative tasks relating to the day to day operations of the Tribunal.
  • Prepare and distribute the sitting roster for Tribunal members.
  • Analyse and review annual statistics in preparation for the annual report.
  • Responding to requests for information, documents and advice.

About You

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of the Tribunal with:
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.

Essential Criteria
  • Knowledge and management experience in either a health-related or legal environment.
  • Familiarity with mental health legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a productive member of a team, including promoting and supporting teamwork, combined with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to apply standards and policies, particularly those relating to privacy and confidentiality, and those surrounding workplace health and safety.
  • Developed computer skills including advanced Excel. Experience with CRM tools, Sharepoint and Microsoft Suite also desirable.
