Graduate Accountant role at Carbon offers hands-on experience with diverse clients in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of General and Special Purpose Financial statements
  • Assisting with year-end and month-end journals
  • Preparing BAS and IAS
  • Preparing Payroll tax returns
  • Liaising with ATO and ASIC
  • Reviewing and liaising with clients to complete work in a timely fashion
  • Assorted Advisory work
  • Working with and having direct contact with a diverse client base across a broad range of industry sectors
About You

What you'll need:

  • Recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting or similar (double degrees encouraged)
  • Willingness to undertake the Chartered Accounting (CA) programme
  • High level of attention to detail and confident communication skills
  • Excellent time management and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Advanced computer literacy skills, especially with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Xero/MYOB (desired)
