About the role

Ruga's Cafe is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Cafe All-Rounder to join our team in Taperoo, SA. This is a casual position, offering 20-30 hours, Monday-Friday and the option for every third Saturday. Opportunity for more responsibility and hours for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of cold beverages

Assembling sandwiches, salads, and other light meals according to customer orders

Providing excellent customer service by taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including regular cleaning and restocking of supplies

Assisting with other kitchen and front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or food service role, preferably in a cafe or similar environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Basic food handling and preparation skills

Barista experience is preferred but not essential
