Genus Infrastructure are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our major projects team.

Genus Infrastructure Pty Ltd (GNI) specialises in delivering end-to-end innovative solutions in multiple sectors across Australia. It specialises in Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Communications, and Renewable Energy and is a subsidiary of the GenusPlus Group (ASX: GNP).

The Role
The Procurement Manager's purpose is to plan, coordinate and manage the Procurement operations and provide guidance and leadership to projects to ensure strategies developed for sourcing packages within projects are aligned with the overall program and regional strategies. The Procurement Manager will support the Major Projects team to drive and support all procurement needs on an upcoming project in Tasmania and other projects across Australia. The successful candidate will be required to work from our head office in Belmont and be able to commit to travelling to various projects when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
  • High level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver's License – "C" Class.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate level PC, printer, scanners, and internet skills.
  • Intermediate level Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
  • Experience in utilities and/or construction and/or resources industry.
  • Broad commercial awareness.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Navision Business Central as part of day-to-day tasks.
  • Must be able to travel to sites to meet project requirements.
