An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join Lloyd BMW & MINI based in Newcastle.

As part of a new scheme, we are offering an introductory bonus of up to £2000 for joining the company. (Terms & Conditions apply)

Salary: £33,000 - £49,000 depending on experience and qualifications, including uncapped bonuses.

Role Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders with details of repairs, parts required, and labour charges.
  • Test vehicles using measuring devices for accurate diagnostics.
  • Interpret technical data and manufacturer instructions.
  • Conduct routine vehicle service work.
  • Remove and install vehicle components per manufacturer methodology.
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and identify issues.
  • Prepare new and Approved Used vehicles.
  • Perform repairs following documented procedures.
  • Report faults, note on job cards, and inform managers of additional issues.
  • Record work details, hours, and materials used.
  • Ensure vehicle safety standards are met upon return to customers.
  • Keep vehicles protected and clean during service.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and tidiness at shift end.
