Overview

A leading full-service agency in South Melbourne is looking for a seasoned Performance Marketing Director to take the reins of major client accounts, drive channel strategy, and lead a high-performing team across paid media, eCommerce, automation, and the wider digital ecosystem.

If you're a digital all-rounder with deep roots in performance marketing, this is your opportunity to lead with impact and set yourself up for a move into Head of Digital.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own performance strategy across key clients - think paid search, paid social, CRO, analytics, and media planning.
  • Lead and mentor a growing team of digital specialists, ensuring best-in-class execution and continuous development.
  • Build deep relationships with long-term clients, translating business needs into high-performing marketing programs.
  • Oversee broader digital channels including eCommerce, marketing automation, and campaign optimisation.
  • Contribute to new business and pitch work, helping shape the agency's next phase of growth.
What You'll Bring
  • 6+ years' digital marketing experience, including agency leadership
  • Strong track record in performance marketing (especially paid media, search, social)
  • Commercial thinking and a sharp eye for growth opportunities
  • Hands-on ability to get into the detail, but confidence to delegate and lead
  • Experience managing client budgets over $100k per month spend, presenting strategy, and delivering results
