Hope Island Tavern is searching for an experienced food & beverage-focused Venue Manager to lead our newly renovated venue Known for our friendly service, great food, and cold beers, we're looking for a hands-on leader who can take our hospitality to the next level.

As Venue Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our bustling, high-volume venue. Your leadership will shape a dynamic team, drive service excellence, and ensure smooth operations across all areas.

What's on Offer:

This role is based on the Gold Coast QLD, offering a very strong remuneration package comprised of an excellent base salary circa $100,000 - $110,000 in addition to superannuation and an achievable performance bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the venue.
  • Shape and lead a dynamic team.
  • Drive service excellence.
  • Ensure smooth operations across all areas.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Venue Management experience.
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems.
  • P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials.
  • Experience in a high-turnover customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and strategic hospitality management.
  • Market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area & industry.
  • Ability to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully.
  • State-based qualifications Approved Managers License.
