Maintenance Fitter

Maintenance Fitter – Minto at CSR Limited. Exclusive opportunity to join our team at the Minto site to commence as soon as possible.
Work hours: 7am–3pm Monday–Friday (Some OT required occasionally).
Responsibilities- Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance on all mechanical machinery within the factory and shutdown maintenance.
- Ensure all relevant procedures and safe work method statements are completed before maintenance tasks commence.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory.
- Contribute to performance improvements by analyzing issues and implementing strategies for production efficiency.
- Adhere to safe work practices and identify hazards, reporting incidents as required.
- Mechanical trade license or equivalent (Boilermaker, Plant Mechanic, HV Diesel Mechanic) with previous experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing with routine and breakdown maintenance.
- Confined spaces and Work At Heights (WAH) – preferred
- Strong safety focus and ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- SAP maintenance system proficiency
- First Aid, Forklift, and Elevated Work Platform certifications are desirable
