About The Role

Reason Group is seeking experienced and strategically minded Senior Consultant / Manager with business analysis experience to join our growing consulting team. As a core member within our organisation, you will guide business analysis initiatives across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will be responsible for understanding our client needs to help shape solutions that drive value and building strong relationships with government stakeholders. This role demands a high degree of analytical rigour, stakeholder engagement, and consulting excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead business analysis efforts across end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with strategic client outcomes.
  2. Develop comprehensive client-ready documents and deliver impactful presentations such as business cases, requirements documentation, process maps, and benefit realisation plans.
  3. Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand complex business challenges and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations.
  4. Bring thought leadership to develop business and technical solutions to address client needs.
  5. Work across multi-disciplinary functional teams.
  6. Ensure high-quality client delivery, contributing to the development of business analysis frameworks and internal capability uplift.

What makes you a great fit?

  1. 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a consulting or advisory environment, ideally working with government clients.
  2. Expert in requirements elicitation, process modelling, business case development, and stakeholder engagement.
  3. Experience within the Australian Public Service or broader government sector is highly desirable.
  4. Australian Citizen with AGSVA Baseline or higher clearance preferred.
