We are seeking an experienced General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team at our new Dawsonville hospital location. This brand-new facility, opening in the Spring of 2024, will cater to the needs of the rapidly growing Northeast Georgia market. Responsibilities:

1. Perform a variety of elective outpatient surgeries in the Dawsonville market, focusing on bread and butter general surgery procedures
2. Collaborate with a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver comprehensive patient care, including rounding and clinic visits
3. Demonstrate proficiency in endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
4. Function effectively as part of a care delivery team, utilizing resources efficiently to ensure optimal patient outcomes
5. Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to support the growth and development of the surgical team

Qualifications:

1. Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
2. Board-certified in General Surgery
3. Demonstrated interest and proficiency in endoscopy and colonoscopy
4. Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
5. Excellent clinical skills and a team-oriented mindset
6. At least 3 years of surgical experience required
