Overview

We are seeking a hard working Kitchen Hand to join our dedicated kitchen team at Cronulla RSL.

Key duties
  • Thorough cleaning of the kitchen, including dishes and floors
  • Food preparation assistance
  • Stock rotation and stock control
  • Following all health and safety procedures when carrying out all tasks
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by our chefs and management
  • Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
  • Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Head Chef
Key qualities
  • Previous experience in a high-volume catering or kitchen hand role is essential
  • Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of WHS (Work Health & Safety) guidelines
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
  • Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively within a team
  • Flexible availability
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills in English
  • Knife skills are a bonus – we'd love to see them
