We are excited to offer this opportunity for passionate, caring, and committed midwifery students to join our team at Singleton Maternity Our successful candidates will be working with women, families and midwives in a supportive role as an Assistant in Midwifery. On any given day, you will be providing postnatal care in the form of breastfeeding support, observations, and attending to postnatal care plans. This role offers clinical support which is available from the education, management and midwifery team. You will be working collaboratively within the team to support women and newborns and promote safety and quality in the workplace.

The Maternity Unit at Singleton Hospital provides Level 2 & Level 3 care to their patients and provide shared care with the GP Obstetricians. Due to the small size of the town, you will enjoy getting to know the women that you care for closely, in turn being able to provide the highest level of care to them.
