About Our Client

ITW is a Fortune 200 organisation, a highly respected industrial manufacturer with an annual turnover of over $16 billion across five business units, including business solutions, construction, and residential. This newly created Finance Manager role is within their construction division, playing a key leadership role in their new shared services finance structure. The position is based in Dandenong with 2 days' work from home flexibility per week.

Job Description
  • Leadership: Lead a team of 3 accounting professionals in system accounting, compliance + controls, and finance projects.
  • Business Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including IT, sales, and finance leaders.
  • Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with financial laws and guidelines across the organisation.
  • Systems: Design and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
  • Audit & Compliance: Oversee statutory compliance obligations and coordinate internal and external audits for ITW APAC Construction divisions.
  • Projects: Manage internal projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a CA/CPA-qualified professional with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Experience in a multinational organisation, preferably in manufacturing or construction, is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Pronto accounting software is advantageous. Proven leadership in managing finance teams within a matrix structure, with a results-driven mindset, attention to detail, and strong decision-making skills, is essential. A curious and pragmatic approach to work and business improvements will be valued.
