Junior Project Manager

Digital Garden is looking for a smart, proactive Digital Producer or Project Manager to join our Sydney team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in junior–mid level roles who is looking to take the next step in their career. We are after someone who is detail-orientated, technically-minded, a self-starter and hungry to learn from industry experts. Note: Due to security needs, this role is open to Australian Citizens ONLY.

About the role

You'll work closely with senior producers, strategists, designers, and developers to help deliver digital projects. General CMS exposure or experience is required — such as Drupal, WordPress or similar. We'll train you on the finer details. What matters is that you're organised, confident with technology, and eager to grow. You'll learn directly from senior producers and technical leads who've delivered some of Australia's biggest brands, government and not-for-profit websites.

What you'll do

• Be an amazing communicator - in writing and verbally
• Translate client needs into structured tasks for the team
• Support end-to-end delivery of digital projects
• Populate and test websites to ensure accuracy and quality
• Create and manage functional requirements with clear specifications
• Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to keep communication smooth
• Get hands-on with CMS platforms and digital tools (training provided)

What we're looking for

• A self-go-getter: curious, proactive, and quick to pick things up
• Good under pressure and good-humoured
• Detail-orientated and highly organised
• Comfortable with technology, with a logical/technical mindset
• Confident communicator who can work well with both clients and colleagues
• UX and design eye appreciated — knows what works and what doesn't on a wireframe or design when delivered by a designer. Able to spot when something looks off or can be improved
• Some experience in a digital, creative, or technical environment is a bonus
• A relevant degree in digital media, design, communications, technology, or a related field

We're a Sydney-based digital agency specialising in UX, design, and Drupal development. We offer flexibility, growth, and the chance to work on high-profile government, not-for-profit, and corporate projects. Our hybrid setup means 2 days a week in the Sydney office and the rest working from home. You'll be learning from an experienced team that's been delivering digital solutions for over 20 years.

Salary between $70,000 and $90,000 + super depending upon experience
