We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to lead our Restaurant and Events space and join our hotels in a journey of making travel more human, connected, and sustainable. Here, everyone's role matters, and your individuality is celebrated.

The Role:

  1. Oversee the daily operation of the restaurant and events space during scheduled shifts, ensuring smooth service, set up, and guest satisfaction.
  2. Promote Hyatt Regency Brisbane and Lennons Restaurant as a premier venue for events through targeted marketing efforts and build and maintain relationships with event vendors and partners to create opportunities for cross-promotion and referrals.
  3. Take charge of our special dining experience with the world's smallest chef, Le Petit Chef Help lead an immersive and unforgettable dining experience for our guests on this vibrant 3D-animated dining experience.
  4. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen staff to plan and execute menus and setups for private and special events.
  5. Manage restaurant and events staff, including providing feedback, handling scheduling, and overseeing their adherence to service standards.
  6. Address and resolve customer requests and complaints promptly and professionally.

The Person:

  1. Extensive knowledge of operational restaurant and event procedures, ideally within a hotel environment.
  2. Understanding of food and wine pairing principles, with a preference for familiarity with local wines.
  3. Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Previous experience using Infrasys is highly regarded.
  5. Current RSA mandatory/Current RMLV is advantageous.
  6. Flexibility around working across all shifts including nights, weekends & public holidays.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Legal working rights in Australia.
