About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Execution Advisor – Gathering to join our Upstream Projects team. This role is pivotal in supervising site construction activities related to gas gathering systems, ensuring compliance with IFC documentation, construction standards, and safety and quality protocols.

You will play a key role in overseeing excavation activities, managing third-party contractors, and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of field operations. This position reports directly to the Construction Manager and Superintendents in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily construction activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Act as an Excavation Authorised Person (AP), overseeing excavation permits and compliance with QGC procedures.
Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for construction and execution issues.
Liaise with landowners and ensure proper land access permissions.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adequate resources are available.
Conduct site surveys, quality assurance checks, and participate in project handovers.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and ensure timely reporting of risks and issues.
Support engineering design and field issue resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in excavation and backfill of live assets in the oil & gas industry.
Proven experience with HDPE water and gas gathering systems.
Certificate III in Gas Supply Industry (preferred) or ability to obtain.
Competency in squeeze-off, hot tap, HDPE welding, flange management, and N2 purging/testing.
Familiarity with LPD & HPV excavation and installation.
Strong understanding of pipeline construction from clearing to rehabilitation.
Experience with safety management systems and HSSE principles.
Excellent stakeholder management and contractor supervision skills.

Additional Information

This is a FIFO role with a 19/9 roster.
Domestic travel may be required.
