About the role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Project Manager to lead IAM projects and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with some experience planning, executing, and overseeing IAM projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement of our IAM posture.

Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions, such as Microsoft 365, Azure AD, or Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of identity governance, administration, and analytics.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple IAM projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units.
• Align IAM initiatives with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest IAM trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks within projects and the overall organization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership, IT teams, security professionals, and business unit leaders.
• Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to various audiences, both technical and non-technical.
• Manage relationships with IAM technology vendors and service providers.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders.

The Successful Candidate

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IAM, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex IAM projects.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and risk management principles.
