OverviewAbout the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to own our infrastructure, optimise our deployment pipelines, and elevate our development team's operational capabilities. This role requires deep AWS expertise, infrastructure-as-code proficiency, and a security first and developer's problem-solving mindset. You\'ll architect cloud solutions across multi-region and manage complex microservices infrastructure. Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain internal tooling and infrastructure automation using Bash and Terraform modules
  • Optimize AWS infrastructure costs and performance
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Establish monitoring and alerting systems with focus on alert optimisation and noise reduction
  • Manage containerised applications with Docker, including Docker-in-Docker setups and security permissioning
  • Deploy and maintain database clusters with appropriate security hardening
  • Investigate and implement AWS service improvements
  • Train and mentor development teams on DevSecOps best practices and infrastructure concepts
  • Troubleshoot production issues across microservices architecture and implement preventive solutions
About You
  • Proficient experience in DevOps/infrastructure engineering with deep AWS expertise
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code principles
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms at scale — Buildkite preferred; experience with Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions valued
  • Experience with monitoring tools, alerting strategies, and production system management
  • Experience with containerisation, serverless architectures, database management, cloud networking, and AWS security services
  • Experience with database infrastructure and security hardening
