Senior UX Designer - Shaping the Future of a New App

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to help launch a brand-new app. As part of a VC-backed team, you will work closely with a Lead Visual Designer to define and deliver a user experience that is smart, scalable, and human.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design UX architecture from scratch, including flows, IA, logic, and task modeling
  • Translate real-world needs into clear, usable product experiences
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to validate direction
  • Work alongside the Lead Visual Designer as two sides of the same coin
  • Document user journeys and interaction patterns in Figma with clarity and precision
  • Balance customer goals, business logic, and long-term product thinking
About You:
  • A strategic UX practitioner who loves untangling complexity and bringing order to chaos
  • Experience designing native mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Confidence working in ambiguous, early-stage environments where the path isn't mapped yet
  • Able to think in systems, not just screens, and tie together structure, user stories, and logic
  • A natural collaborator who can work fluidly across disciplines and talk to developers, stakeholders, and designers alike
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, clear, articulate, and persuasive
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with early product builds or MVPs
  • Familiarity with AI-influenced workflows or data-rich platforms
  • Background in service design, research, or end-to-end journey mapping
