The Role

We are recruiting for compassionate Care Assistant to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers every day.

As a Care Assistant at Sydney Brown Court, you would be expected to embrace values of empathy, respect, and dignity as you provide essential care to individuals in need.

In caring for our customers, your main duties will include:

  • Personal care.
  • Medication administration.
  • Supporting people through temporary or terminal illness.
  • Helping with eating and drinking.
  • Light domestic duties such as bed making.
  • Support with social, physical activities and mental stimulation such as hobbies and recreation.

About Sydney Brown Court…

Sydney Brown Court is situated in the ancient market town of Hadleigh. Hadleigh has a number of local amenities including a doctors surgery, dentist, post office, public houses and boutique shops.

Sydney Brown Court is an Extra Care housing scheme, helping you to live independently for as long as possible. It gives you the security and privacy of a home of your own, with a range of shared facilities on the premises and 24-hour care services if you need them.   • Care Certificate is desirable.
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social care or equivalent, is desirable.
