All IT Solutions is looking to expand the team with a Level 2 (intermediate) service desk role.
We are a Managed IT and Security Services Provider (MSSP) seeking a passionate and energetic Service Desk Technician to join our collaborative team.
As a Service Desk Technician, you (and your team) will be responsible for managing the IT environment of multiple clients. Your role will encompass networking, server technologies, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity. Your daily tasks will involve troubleshooting and problem-solving, requiring a technical mindset and excellent customer service skills.
Occasionally, you will need to drive to client sites for on-site support.
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Office hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with some out-of-hours work as needed.
Our office is located in the City.
Personal requirements:
- A strong enthusiasm for IT
- Professional appearance
Technical requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge of small business IT, including networking, server technologies, desktops, Microsoft OS and applications, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity best practices
Your duties (with guidance):
- Coordinate and implement client projects
- Implement cybersecurity measures
- Assist with help desk calls regarding network, PC, and application issues
- Build and configure client environments
- Attend client sites for technical support
- Research and adopt new technologies
