Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: Teneriffe, Brisbane (Office-First with WFH Flexibility)

The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands‑on Senior Full Stack Developer for an immediate start, joining our dynamic onshore team in Brisbane and acting as a key conduit to our offshore development centre in Saigon.

You'll work from our inspiring Teneriffe workspace, collaborating closely with product managers, designers and fellow developers to solve complex problems and ship top‑quality software.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and build scalable full‑stack solutions using .NET Core and React (TypeScript)
• Lead technical decisions that drive product direction and enhance user experience
• Mentor and collaborate with developers in a low‑bureaucracy, high‑trust environment
• Carve out dedicated time to explore new technologies and contribute to our evolving architecture
• Own features end‑to‑end: from conception and design through testing, deployment, and monitoring in our cloud‑native infrastructure

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years hands‑on C# and .NET Core/Framework development
• 3+ years building modern React applications with TypeScript
• Proven experience in eCommerce platform development and payment gateway integrations (Stripe)
• Strong API design and database optimisation skills
• Cloud experience on AWS or Azure
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• A genuine interest in the latest AI trends and how they can enhance our platform and keep Handel ahead of the curve

Bonus Points For:

• Elixir or other functional‑programming curiosity
• Microservices architecture and GraphQL
• Next.js and modern front‑end tooling
• Automated testing (TDD) practices
• Leadership or formal mentoring experience
