About the Role

As the Centre Manager, you will be the heartbeat of Vortex Entertainment. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring every guest has a safe, exciting, and memorable experience. From managing budgets and rosters to leading a diverse team, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding our values and driving our mission to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff at all times.
• Manage all operational aspects, including budgeting, rostering, and maintaining high standards across all divisions (Vortex Café, harness activities, workshops, and group bookings).
• Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer service and embody Vortex values.
• Handle conflict resolution with a calm and professional approach.
• Act as a brand ambassador and salesperson, promoting Vortex to the local community and beyond.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and exceed revenue targets.
• Oversee special events, school programs, and corporate team-building activities.
• Work weekends and during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll need to:

• Be detail-oriented with strong operational and time management skills.
• Have a solid understanding of budgeting and rostering.
• Be proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be a natural problem solver with the ability to handle issues quickly and appropriately.
• Have a flair for sales and marketing, with the ability to promote the Vortex brand.
• Be passionate about creating a fun and safe environment for guests of all ages.
