At Gold Fields, safety isn't just a priority — it's the way we work. We're searching for a sharp-thinking Safety & Health Systems Advisor who's passionate about using data, systems, and smart processes to keep people safe and operations running smoothly.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, loves problem-solving, and wants to make a real impact across multiple mine sites.

This is a Perth based position, Fixed Term until December 2026

In this role, you will:

You'll be central to how we manage and improve our Safety & Health systems. Every day, you'll be:

  • Providing health and safety systems support to site teams to implement Group initiatives
  • Coordinating Safety & Health change management activities
  • Turning complex data into clear safety performance insights
  • Providing management updates of legislative changes, industry trends, guidance materials
  • Consolidating health and safety data into management reports
  • Supporting serious incident review processes
  • Managing risk management plans and tracking actions to close the loop on key learnings

Your technical strengths:

  • Risk management and safety systems knowledge
  • Incident investigation and audit experience
  • Familiar with INX, MS Teams, Visio, Projects or similar platforms

You're known for:

  • Strong data skills — you can spot trends, find risks, and tell the story
  • Clear, confident communication (written and verbal)
  • Great time management and task prioritisation
  • A balance of independence and team-first mindset
