Expression of interest - Facilities Manager - (Essential Services & Community Sector)

Melbourne-based | Facilities Management (Essential Services & Community Sector) | Full-Time

We are inviting expressions of interest for a Senior Account Manager role supporting a highly regulated and people-focused client portfolio within the community and essential services sector.

This role is ideal for an experienced facilities management professional who thrives in compliance-heavy environments such as healthcare, aged care, disability support, or other social infrastructure settings, and who brings proven leadership skills to manage service delivery across multiple sites and teams.

About the Role

You will lead contract operations across a range of essential services sites, ensuring all service delivery meets client expectations, regulatory standards, and internal KPIs. You will work closely with service providers, support staff, and internal teams to tailor and maintain solutions that are safe, inclusive, and responsive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational delivery of integrated facilities services across a sensitive and regulated portfolio
  • Manage a team of Facilities Managers and Coordinators, maintaining performance and accountability
  • Maintain safety, incident response, and service quality through proactive leadership and issue resolution
  • Liaise regularly with client representatives and service partners to build strong relationships and trust
  • Ensure documentation, compliance, and reporting standards are consistently met
  • Monitor contract performance, budget, invoicing, WIP and forecasting activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on accessibility, inclusion, and participant experience

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in Facilities Management or Technical Services across complex or compliance-driven environments (essential)
  • Background in healthcare, disability, aged care, or social infrastructure (highly regarded)
  • Strong people leadership skills — with experience managing diverse teams and subcontractors
  • High-level interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong commercial acumen — confident managing budgets, reports, and KPIs
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Relevant qualifications in FM, Project Management, or Trade
