Responsibilities
  • Being actively involved with all stages of a project delivery including tender handovers, project launches, site establishments, risk management, construction staging, and methodology and procurement
  • Managing safety, time, cost, and quality
  • Managing and developing your engineering team
  • Project planning and programming tasks
  • Liaising and managing client relationships
  • Monitoring performance of construction crew and subcontractors against estimates
  • Reporting and mitigating performance issues
  • Reporting production costs daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Procurement of plant, equipment, and material
  • Issuing PMPs, SWMs, and MSDs
  • Project compliance in accordance with the Integrated Management System
Qualifications
  • A person who excels in collaborating in project teams and has a passion for complex and major infrastructure development
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or Project Management
  • At least 4 years experience in a similar role delivering civil infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively working with authorities, such as local councils, utilities companies and Major Road Projects Victoria
