About The Role
As a Reliability Engineer, you will focus on ensuring the reliable operation of our assets across the state. Your work will involve failure analysis, defect elimination, plant performance monitoring, and optimising maintenance activities to improve reliability and efficiency. You will contribute engineering expertise to deliver fit-for-purpose asset management solutions that support sustainable and commercially responsive operations.
As a Reliability Engineer, you will;
✓ Support proactive failure prevention through data analysis to identify potential issues and areas for intervention or enhanced monitoring.
✓ Provide engineering input to production and maintenance decision-making, including condition monitoring, inspections, failure investigations, and performance testing.
✓ Maintain an up-to-date understanding of our assets and their status, risks, and performance capabilities.
✓ Support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and solutions to eliminate recurring failures.
✓ Travel as needed across the state to support site visits, inspections, and investigations

Who are you?
You've got a degree and engineering qualification in an appropriate discipline, along with at least 2 years' experience in reliability engineering, ideally in power generation or a large industrial setting. You're familiar with failure mode effects analysis, root cause investigations, maintenance planning, and performance evaluations.
You think strategically and drive evidence-based decision making, with strong influencing skills that help you listen, understand different views, and adjust your approach to get the best outcome. You're a practical problem solver who's comfortable working through complex technical and operational challenges in a fast-changing environment.
