The role involves
- Lawn maintenance in an industrial setting
- General gardening and soft landscaping
- Manual tasks including but not limited to digging, shoveling, spraying
- Operation of small plant items such as chainsaws, brush cutters, pole saws, blowers, electric power tools, vegetation trimmers
- Operation of medium heavy plant items such as ride-on mowers, bobcat, skid steer and other machinery as required
- Fencing installation, replacement, and repairs
- Tree care operation
- Waste management - removal of domestic, commercial, and green waste
- Ensuring equipment is in safe working order
- Working under routine supervision and direction either individually or in a team
- Completion of worksheets and daily site safety checklists, both written and electronically
- You are reliable with a positive attitude, proactive and a team player
- You have a focus on customer service
- You have time management skills
- You have demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and have an awareness of WHS
- Experience in horticultural and landcare maintenance
- Experience in grounds maintenance and fencing
- Experience with ride-on mowers, brush cutters and other small plant items
- Current Driver licence
- Suitable applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks
- 5-day working week, with hours towards RDO
- Above award wages
- WHS Induction Card. Safety and induction training is provided
- ChemCERT Chemical accreditation
- Experience with larger machinery (mowers, bobcats, excavators, trucks)
- Chainsaw accreditation and safety training
